As a young girl in rural Utah, Granny always dreamed of moving to California. When it finally happened in her 60s, she ate it up like a kid in a candy store. Her area had lots of marinas where boats are docked–and she took advantage!

Trips to San Francisco with Granny and Gramps became a new experience for us grandkids when they moved from rural Logan, UT, to the Bay in 2007.

Our Granny had this cute little giggle when she saw a scene that could be her next painting. She would bring props to the beach for kids to play with, hoping to capture the magic that little kids feel when experiencing the wonders of the beach.
